Rotational MoldingRotational Molding

Rotational molding, or rotomolding, is a cost-effective way to produce large parts. Plastic resins are loaded into a mold which is heated as it is rotated slowly in two directions. This simultaneous heating and rotation process distributes the material on the inner surfaces of the mold and fuses it.

Our state of the art technology includes a process-controlled Ferry RS 550 bi-axial rotational molding machine, the largest in the industry, which accommodates a mold with a 209 inch diagonal. We can handle the largest jobs . . . but that is not all we do. Matching the right equipment to specifications also helps us keep your projects and products cost-effective.

Rotomolding offers a high degree of flexibility and precision. Complex contours, metal inserts, flanges, and molded-in threads can be designed into the walls, requiring fewer steps to get to your finished product.
